Hi, my name is Millie. I was first rescued by a sweet college girl when I resided in a shelter near New Orleans. After a tropical storm hit last year, she lost her place and brought me back to Arkansas to live with family. I then lived with her grandmother and her sweet ancient golden retriever, till grandma died....I have now been rescued again by the kind folks of the Animal League. I am truly the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I love people and other canine friends. I am very well mannered, can be playful when appropriate and calm and quite when necessary. I am truly the best dog ever, so the foster folks tell me:) I am looking for a loving family who has the time to spend with me and also I would't mind a canine friend to play with! I am totally house trained, not a barker, love to ride in the car, go on walks/runs. I bond very very quickly to love and affection. I long to feel secure, wanted and loved again.
